"Fishing For A Cure !"

"Fishing For A Cure" was our 2003 theme!

To raise money for our Relay For Life campaign, we held a number of bake sales at our Church and were able to raise over $216.00.  The total donations came to $1,300.00!!

During the actual relay, Jessika's Dad brought his fishing boat to the field house along with his fishing poles, life vests and a blow up whale.

We had two teams with a total of 17 students.  Jessika's mom, Renee, and Pastor Heather were both  team leaders.  Each student received a special-team Relay For Life t-shirt, which was designed and embroidered by Renee.

Jessika & Candace got up at Church and recruited 17 students between the ages of six to twelve years old.  The total donations they raised was $1,300.00, plus the registration fee for each student and the two team captains.

Jessika was the only student to raise over $200.00 and earned a special Relay For Life t-shirt.

Please have your donation postmarked by May 20th. as money needs to be turned in before the relay. Checks are to be made payable to American Cancer Society.
